Profits World Food Programme overwhelming.
During the day of the tournament, two WFP stands were
selling numerous TNT items and gadgets of which the entire profits were
donated to the World Food Programme. All items were disposed freely, which
means that every single euro that was paid this day is donated directly to
the bank account of the WFP. In total, over €1100 was collected. This
ensures 44 children in Malawi of at least 1 nutritional meal per day for
an entire year!
On behalf of the WFP and the children in Malawi, we want
to thank all buyers for their commitment and donations. We also want to
thank our sponsors for providing all sales items free of charge. Many
thanks!!

Here is the full players of TNT Turkey, we joined to
Istanbul Companies Tournament. This picture was taken there. We showed
enjoyable watching to spectators. But we lost our last match and been out
of the tournement. But it was a good training for Lommel. We choose the
lucky 10 players and we are coming to Belgium. It will be the first time
for us to play in TNT World cup and I'am sure that it will be
amazing.

Today the schedule
of some groups were changed on request of several countries. The main
reason is that the male and female teams should play at the same time.
After changing the schedule the male teams can support their female teams
and vice versa. Some matches, fields and times were changed in the Groups
C / D / E / F / G / I / J. Sorry for the inconvience.

Last year, all visual material was compilated on an official TNT Express
World Cup DVD; all participating depots received one copy. This year, we
want to enable every participant to secure a DVD copy. This DVD with a
compilation of the tournament and the Saturday night party can be bought
for €7, of which the profits will be entirely donated to the World Food
Programme.
You can subscribe for the TNT Express World Cup 2007 DVD by completing a
form which you can find at the WFP stand at the FC Lommel grounds on the
2nd of June.
The DVD will be sent to you as soon as possible at your local TNT Express
depot.

TNT Brazil will be all together on May 25th, in Campinas,
where they will face five days of intensive trainings with our coach Edgar
Poletto. For the majority of our players, this is their first time on an
airplane! Can you figure that? A “band” of operational employees, that
never have had dreamed about traveling beyond the Brazilian border, flying
to Europe!!! It is really amazing and cool!!!! These guys are already
orange on the inside!!! Below a picture of our uniform, which is very
similar to the Brazilian team official uniform.
